    This two hour tour will help visitors to Nauvoo experience the people and places that built the City of Joseph. Experience the depth of local history as you visit the sites of the Battle of Nauvoo, Joseph’s King Follett Discourse, Seymour Brunson’s Grave (where Baptism for the Dead was revealed to the Saints), and other local sites that are often lost in the shadows. You'll also learn about the history of the Nauvoo Temple and review its exterior symbols.
    Nauvoo was built by a remarkable people. This tour will bring you closer to them, and their legacy…Nauvoo, the City Beautiful.
    This tour is 90 minutes in length, and is conducted in air-conditioned comfort. There are three tours daily, with a maximum of 12 people per tour, so reserve early. You will be contacted to confirm your time and date.

    If the Book of Mormon setting was the midwest of North America, where are the likely locations for some of the events?
    This tour visits some possible sites related to the Book of Mormon (particularly the events in Alma).
    It includes visits to The Valley of Gideon, Ammoniha, Amnihu, and other locations, as well as a review of the people and events that took place there. This is a four hour tour in our comfortable bus with tour guide and author, R. Lane Wright.
